Wordless Wednesday

Have started up again for another season with the Kapiti Cycling Club.

Every Tuesday evening they hold a race in Waikanae of 35km. The course is 10 x 3.5k. I'm not that good at these fast flat shorter courses but enjoy the challenge. Last night it took me 55:30, one of my better times.

At registration prior to race start

Sounds tough to me. Isn't Te Moana road really busy at that time?

Wow that sounds like fun. I love cycling except we live on a gravel road and cars drive fast if you know what I mean. Have fun. B

Nice to hear that you are getting back into your cycling. The more practice the better you will get. I can't wait to try out my new bike but where we are right now isn't conducive to biking. The road is very narrow and lots of crazy mexican truckers! Hopefully our next stop will be better for cycling.

I don't know how far 35km is in miles, but it seems like a long way on a bike.
