German Splendour

One of the delights of my regular travels to Europe for the World Mountain Running Champs is staying in beautiful mountainous resort areas. This year was at the foot of the Black Forest. I love the architecture of the grand and beautifully upkept housing in the quaint European villages. I love the pride that the German people take in adorning their homes and invariably their terraces have lovely flower arrangements.
