We sadly said our goodbyes to Kate's boyfriend, Victor on Tuesday as he returned to Brazil. It had been wonderful spending time with him during the year as he got to know our family.

I hate goodbyes! Never fun to do! It must have been incredibly difficult! And I see Alice remembered the attachment to the clippers ;-)
It was lovely to meet Victor ...I hope he is travelling back safely, and that you don't all miss him too much.

It sounds like you had a wonderful time. I love hearing stories about the university children--reminds me of my own university children almost the same age.
