School Days

The end of the school year this coming Friday approaches with a mix of sadness and relief.

Although it has been a tiring term, without doubt I have enjoyed teaching this group of Year 3 children more than any other year I have taught. I have loved their enthusiasm and joy of learning. This age group has allowed me to be truly young at heart and I have built up a great bond with the children.

We have enjoyed music and shared laughter. I believe I have instilled in them a passion for language. I have been really impressed with their developed literacy skills and their growing love for reading and writing.

When Friday arrives I will send those children entrusted to me on their way knowing that I have made a positive difference to their lives. I know I have been fortunate to teach a wonderful young group of children and have had a fantastic time sharing my skills and interests with them.

And it is with great sadness that the kids (and parents) will say goodbye to you on Friday. You have been a fantastic teacher and I know they'll have fond memories of their time with you. Remember to check out my blog on Friday ;-).

Another of your really nice songs!

Sounds as if you really enjoy your job - which is great. It must be very rewarding to teach children and get such good feedback. Emjoy your break!!

With a teacher like you, I am sure they will miss you much and that the knowledge they got from you, will be carried along with them for the rest of their lives.
